The Kitchen Report: November 17th

Hi Pickleball Family,

Alright… let’s get onto the good stuff.

The weekly Kitchen Report is live.

It’s everything you never knew you needed — updates, laughs, and a sprinkle of chaos.

Click it. Watch it below. Pretend it’s CNN but for pickleball.

BUT WAIT-before your click…read this first. Don’t skip ahead. Don’t jump the line. This is important!

Open Play Reminder

This topic is getting old—fast! Open play is for OPEN play, and that means:

•            No lessons

•            No round robins

•            No coaching

•            No structured or organized activities of any kind

I don’t care if every court is empty and tumbleweeds are rolling by — no lessons, no round robins, no coaching, no organized anything during open play. Open play is open play. End of story. If everyone follows the rules, I promise I can stop reminding you! Let’s keep open play open to everyone and make the courts fun and fair for all.

Dues Time!

For those of you who have already paid your dues — you’re amazing. Gold stars. Model citizens. I appreciate you. For those who haven’t paid… well… you’re about to miss out on a whole lot of fun this year. And trust me, we’re packing in the fun. Head over to the website to get those dues paid. https://www.poloclubpickleball.com/ Let’s get everyone squared away so we can keep this pickleball train rolling!

Food Drive Alert!

Our food drive is officially underway, folks! Raid those pantries, grab a few cans, and bring them down to the courts. Let’s help fill some plates for the holidays and beyond. There’s a real need out there — and if there’s one thing this pickleball family does well, it’s show up big. Let’s do what we do best: play hard, laugh loud, and help our community.(And yes… beans, corn, soup, chili — it all counts. If it’s a can, we’ll take it!)

 Potluck… Maybe!

Saturday, November 22nd, right after the Team Event, we might have a potluck. I say might because it completely depends on whether anyone actually signs up to bring food.

If nobody signs up… well… no potluck. And then we all go home hungry and dramatic. So! Head over to the website, click on Team Event, scroll down, and you’ll see the magical little Sign-Up button. If we get enough dishes — boom, potluck party. If not, no worries. I know everyone’s juggling a lot, and we’ll just try again next month. Let’s see who steps up with the good stuff!

See you on the courts!

 And now…click away!
