ELECTION FAQ’s
When is the deadline for candidate submissions?
August 2, 2025.
Candidate bios will be emailed to all members of the Pickleball Club on Aug. 15th and posted on the club website.
When can I vote?
A link will be provided on the club website that will take you to a page where you can confidentially vote. Club members will fill out the ballot and submit. Voting will start September 1 and end September 7.
Who can vote?
Only members of the 2025 Polo Club Pickleball Club and Blue Star resort members can vote. Members who are ineligible to vote are those that are no longer members of Blue Star or on temporary suspension from Blue Star (thru 9/7).
What are we voting on?
2025/2026 President. (Currently 2 candidates are running)
Approval of expenditure of club funds for the Nov. annual meeting — we are researching the cost and it will be announced soon.
How are the votes counted?
Christopher Davis (Blue Star GM) will oversee the election.
This will provide our club with the fairest and highest level of confidence in the election process.
In addition to counting the votes, Christopher’s office will also ensure that only Blue Star members in good standing vote in our election.
Will the candidates know who voted for them and who didn’t?
NO.
Your vote is confidential! No 2025/2026 candidate or member of the current administration will know how you voted. If you hear a rumor the vote will be made public — it is just a rumor.
